Depending on the extent of the operation, there is the possibility of having the planned procedure performed on an outpatient basis under regional anesthesia in our own operating room.

All surgeries at ARS PEDIS are performed on an outpatient basis. You will leave us walking and almost always without crutches after each operation. Many procedures can be performed under regional anesthesia, and if desired, also with light sedation or “twilight sleep”. Our TV screen on the ceiling of the operating room can keep you entertained with Netflix and YouTube during the operation. For surgeries requiring general anesthesia, our anesthesiologists are available on call.

Anesthesia: Many procedures can also be performed under local anesthesia of the foot. Naturally, we also offer sedation (“twilight sleep”) in such cases. General anesthesia is always administered by experienced specialist physicians in anesthesia (www.narconova.de) at a private clinic.

After each operation, you will receive a sufficient supply of pain medication from us, so you need not worry about this aspect.
